The Game
Paparazzi! Tales of Tinseltown gives you the thrill of being a sleaze.

A humorous and satirical take on Hollywood, this CD-ROM lets you be both detective and photojournalist. The object is to garner candid snapshots of Tinseltown's most significant celebrities (such as Jucia Rogers, Shawn Pain, and Andy Warthog) and then sell your photos to the tabloids. The more ruthless you are at hounding the stars and outsleazing other paparazzi, the more money you can make. Shoot all 24 celebs in just 2 weeks, or find yourself broke and out of work.

The extensive video clips, realistic scenarios, and witty details kept me rapt for hours. To find the stars, you listen to your videophone messages and flip through your television channels, featuring "programs" and commercials - all parodies of Hollywood. These snippets change frequently, keeping the game unpredictable.

Next time I see tabloid journalists clustered around some defenseless celeb, I'll toss them a knowing smile. After all, being a paparazzo is a risky, skillful job, and somebody's got to do it...
